A Sales Script (Call Script) is a conversation guide outlining key talking points that sales representatives need to cover when engaging a prospect.

They provide a structured template to assist sales team when on a call with potential customers covering main product or service features, pain points, case scenarios including potential objections, in an effort to steer the conversation.

It is preferable to structure a sales script using a broad outline of the main talking points so that sales representatives don’t feel constrained and can develop their conversational skills more freely.
