Introducing the Sales Toolkit module
This product update will focus on the new phone verifier added to the Sales Toolkit and the improvement made to the email verifier. The team has also been hard at work, on ensuring our full compliance with the latest privacy regulations and making the final preparations for our upcoming launch on Appsumo, that will introduce Sales.Rocks to a great new community of marketers, sales representatives and professionals looking for the right app.
We teased the latest addition to the platform in the previous platform update and now it’s finally here – The Phone Verifier. But let’s pause the excitement and the self-congratulations for a moment.
Why did we decide to add a phone verification service to the platform?
We thought about this for a while and looked around the competition. The one thing that we realised was the fact that most of the available platforms offered the standard email centered services including email verification and email finding functionality.
However, even though that is understandably a main selling point for any marketing and sales enablement and automation platform, we must not rely too heavily on it while disregarding other options as well.
Calling is still a widely used channel for sales and marketing teams. Whether cold calling for reaching out to new prospects or warm calling to score a sale it remains an important business channel.
Companies often make their phone number available as part of their contact information, but when looking for new clients, that is not the phone number you need. But if you have a list of direct contact data from potential prospects you need a way to verify the validity of the data.
Another main point that you should consider if SMS is a part of your multichannel outreach strategy, is the need to be aware if any country or regional regulations apply, as well having the correct carrier data.
Prospects can change carriers and having the correct information will help you make sure your messages are delivered in the proper format.
In addition, also knowing the proper time zone increases your chances of success by engaging prospects at the right time.
You can verify your phone numbers one by one or in bulk. Just upload your CSV file or enter a Google Sheet URL.
The output information tells you the Status, Location, Local & International Format, Type, Country, Carrier and Time Zone of the phone number.
Advanced Email verifier
The Sales Toolkit now offers users a choice in their preferred email verification service. You can use the new Sales.Rocks email verifier, TheChecker or Verifybee.
All three email verification tools do a great job at verifying your emails with a high level of accuracy.
We value our users’ privacy and the privacy of the contacts in our database. Your data means it is your choice. To that end we implemented a privacy centre that clarifies in what way we use your data and who can access it, as well as giving you the option to check what data we have on you and what you would like to do with it.
If you are interested to learn more, you check our GDPR and CCPA policies and visit the Privacy Center.
Appsumo & Community
The team is in the final stretch of preparations for the Appsumo launch that is scheduled for the beginning of September. We want to make sure that the Sumolings have a great experience with our platform.
In addition, we understand the core principles of having and being a part of a dedicated community. For that reason, we have been also working on a similar project that we hope will resonate well with our existing users and the newcomers to our platform.
The Sales.Rocks community is a place where the users and our team can engage more directly offering assistance, ideas and feedback about the platform, its modules and functionality as it grows in scope and number of users.
Database update and new functionality
The data team is working on adding domestic industry codes as well as company and contact data from South Africa, Israel, Australia and New Zealand to the database and opening new markets for our users, with Brazil, Mexico, India, Argentina, Chile, Malaysia and Singapore to follow, opening the South American and South Asian markets.
While the development team is currently in the process of adding Teamleader integration to the platform, LinkedIn connectivity to the Email Sequences module.
